What is Withmi?
Withmi is an AI companion app for planning and focus. Chat with your companion, break goals into plans, complete tasks and habits on the Today page, use guidance when stuck, and focus when you need to concentrate.
Is Withmi free?
The first version of Withmi is free. Regular users can use managed AI mode without entering their own API key.
What are managed and custom modes?
Managed mode: uses Withmi's AI endpoint and works out of the box. Custom mode: advanced users can enter their own service URL, model and API key under "Me > AI Configuration"; requests are then sent directly from your device to the service you specify.
Is my data safe? Where is it synced?
After signing in and enabling cloud sync, content like chats, plans, tasks and habits is synced to Withmi servers over an encrypted connection for cross-device use. Voice recordings are processed locally and deleted; the custom API key is stored only in the device Keychain. See the Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app, go to "Me > Data Management" and choose to delete your account. This removes cloud and on-device data. See the Account Deletion page for steps.
Can AI replies be treated as professional advice?
No. AI output is meant to help you organize thoughts and actions and is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Use your own judgment and consult a professional when needed.
Why does the app need microphone / camera / photo access?
The microphone is for voice input, the camera and photos are for setting avatars and sending chat images, and speech recognition converts your voice into text. These permissions are requested only when you actively use the related feature, and you can revoke them anytime in system settings.
I'm not receiving push notifications.
Please make sure notifications are allowed under "Settings > Notifications > Withmi" and that reminders are enabled in the app. If they still don't arrive, email us.
